So excited to be giving out these tips today seeing as the wedding season is slowly creeping on us! Yes!!
We all know that planning your own wedding can be really exciting and also very stressful. Lots wedding vendors and people to connect with. Flash back to 10 years ago, it was a lot less hassle! These days we have so many interesting activities and fun stuff embedded into a wedding ceremony & reception. From the bridal party to the after party, everything on FLEEK!!!!!!
So here are some tips to help guide you through planning a great wedding without going overboard.
Tips
- Know what you want: I believe this is the first point. It is important for the couple to discuss extensively how they want the wedding to be. There'll be lots of suggestions, advice and ideas from close friends and family. It's good to be open to ideas and make a few tweaks here and there that'll work for you, but DO NOT loose sight of what you want!!
- Budget: The essence of having a budget and sticking to it cannot be overemphasized! Of course its best to over-estimate, so try not to exceed that budget.
- Miscellaneous: This is something I believe most people overlook. Not everything will go as planned and fall withing timeline. Always give room for 'eventualities'.
- Hire a wedding planner: I'm sure you knew I would get to this. Yes! Save yourself a lot of these hassles by hiring a wedding planner who would work closely with you to achieve your dream wedding. You should be in the "fattening room" this period not stressing so hire wisely!
I trust you found these tips helpful.
